A simple sweet Gift

The Lorraine Bethea Foundation provided a special afternoon for Ms. Pond, client of
Sharita (social worker), which was filled with joy, comfort, and thoughtful acts of
kindness. Ms. Pond received a professional cut and hair styling, red and yellow roses
(which are her favorite!), and several of her favorite flavors of miniature Nothing Bundt
cakes. Each gift was selected with Teresa's personal preferences in mind, making
the experience especially meaningful.

Teresa was happy throughout her day and expressed appreciation for the thoughtful
gestures. She smiled often, remained engaged, and clearly enjoyed being pampered
and celebrated. Receiving her favorite flowers and treats, along with the opportunity for
self-care services, brought her visible joy. Per Teresa and her daughter, this was a
memorable experience!

Brenda Cobb and Robin Wallace, LBHF board members, were present and helped
make the day even more special. Their kindness, compassion, and personal
involvement contributed to a warm and uplifting atmosphere that Teresa thoroughly
enjoyed.

The experience provided Teresa with meaningful moments of happiness and comfort
while enhancing her quality of life. The generosity and thoughtfulness shown throughout
the day created memories that will last, not only for Teresa but her daughter who
was present during the visit. Sharita offered that LBFH’s gift served as a beautiful
example of compassion in action.
